Like sisters: Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles dazzle in black at the House of Dereon launch at Selfridges

She announced her pregnancy last month, so as Beyoncé showed off her new fashion range on the catwalk yesterday, we wondered if there would be a maternity range.

The 30-year-old’s baby bump was barely recognisable though in her loose black sequinned suit, that she paraded at Selfridges.

The Crazy In Love singer was joined on the runway by her mother, Tina Knowles, who helped launch her daughter's House of Deréon collection.

New business venture: Perhaps Beyonce is looking at ways to expand her millions so she can take a break from singing when the baby is born

Tina gave us a taster of what Beyonce might look like as she approaches 60 - still elegant and flawless.

House of Deréon was introduced in 2004 with the tagline 'Couture.Kick.Soul', with the Crazy In Love singer later joining forces with sister Solange to set up the junior line Deréon in 2006.

Guest list: Beyonce's show attracted Paloma Faith (left) in a little black dress and American actress Rosario Dawson (right), who looked pretty in purple

Despite hiding their figures in layers of black, the girls both looked striking.

And the show attracted a star-studded guest list including Paloma Faith, Rosario Dawson, R&B star Rita Ora, Eliza Doolittle and Ellie Goulding.

Modelling mauve: Singer Eliza Doolittle wore a light purple mini dress to the event alongside scarlet red lips

Miss Doolittle looked stunning in a mauve mini-dress, wedge heels and scarlet red lipstick as she posed for photographs and met fellow singer Beyonce.

Ellie Goulding opted for an all-black ensemble that included a sheer blouse which exposed a leopard-print strapless bra.

She was joined by fellow pop artist Mr Hudson, 32, who looked retro in a deep red velvet suit.

Actress Rosario Dawson looked stunning in a strapless purple frock, while Paloma Faith stuck to a little black dress to be safe.

Mother-to-be: Beyonce looked elated to be showcasing her new range at Selfridges and held onto her mother's hand throughout

Beyonce, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z, wore the glitzy trouser suit that was open to the cleavage.

Modestly there was little flesh on display though, with a large gold necklace strategically in place.
The Grammy-winner kept her stomach hidden, after making a surprise announcement last month by debuting her baby bump on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Wearing a long orange Lanvin gown, the 29-year-old clutched her tummy and told reporters: 'I have a surprise!'

She later performed Love On Top inside the auditorium, before ripping open her jacket to display her blossoming belly.

Single Ladies: Model sports daring outfit as a few feathers protect her modesty on the catwalk

Tina opted for a leather jacket that pinched in at the waist creating curves and a flattering bust.

The 57-year-old first ventured into the fashion world after famously creating costumes for Destiny's Child that the girls wore during their tours and to various events.

The name Deréon pays tribute to Beyonce's maternal grandmother Agnèz Deréon, mother of Tina.

Their creations included an array of floating skirts, plenty of skin and bold make-up with an exotic vibe.

Moral support: Beyonce laughed and joked with her mother Tina during the event

Exotic: While their choice of models were obviously slender, Beyonce and Tina picked a stunning girl with meat on her thighs
