The couple were seen play fighting in the sea as they enjoyed a day at the beach in St Tropez.

But the Real Madrid footballer and underwear model Irina Shayk made the most of their second row seats at a basketball game in Spain.

At first basketball looked like the furthest thing on the 26-year-old Portuguese international's mind as he watched the game between Real Madrid and F.C. Barcelona.


But as teams battled it out Ronaldo's interest in his stunning fiance waned as he became engrossed in the game.

With Real Madrid only winning the game by four points the footballer looked tense as he is known to like his teams to always win.

Although onlookers were staring at Ronaldo's model girlfriend Irina the 25-year-old, whose birthday it is tomorrow, has told fans she is keeping her clothes on for future modelling shoots.

As the game became more tense Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to forget what row he was in or who he was with


Shayk, who has been dating the Real Madrid superstar since 2010, has said she has no intention of posing for the ultimate men’s mag, Playboy.

'Yes, I am a lingerie model, but I have class,' she said in an interview for UK men’s magazine Esquire.

'Playboy offered me so much money last year. I was like, no way.'

'I would never do some kind of cheesy magazine,' added the Russian model.

Ronaldo is one of the world's most famous footballers and, thanks to his lucrative career, he's become a millionaire.

Which goes some way to explaining the huge ring on the engagement finger of his girlfriend Irina Shayk.

The Sport Illustrated model flashed the ring, which was impossible to hide, as her boyfriend collected his Golden Boot award at a ceremony in Madrid.

Wearing a typically short mini dress that showed off her perfect pins and a pair of high heels, the 25-year-old also sported the eye catching sparkler on the third finger of her left hand.

Irina's ring appeared to be comprised a mound of diamonds, and obviously very expensive.

And it stole the limelight from her boyfriend, who was picking up the Golden Boot award for his outstanding goal tally last season in the Spanish La Liga.

The Portuguese international won today having been the top striker in all European leagues from 2010-2011.

He earned the Golden Boot award by breaking Hugo Sanchez's record with his 40 strikes.

In February this year Irina and Ronaldo were reported to be engaged after he apparently jetted all the way from Spain to New York to propose to the Russian beauty on Valentine's Day.

And reports in his native Portugal claimed the 25-year-old Russian may have been expecting their child.

No paternity leave: David Beckham was back to work yesterday just two days after welcoming the birth of his daughter Harper Seven


He only welcomed his first daughter into the world on Sunday but it seems that David Beckham isn’t taking any time off for paternity leave.

The footballer,36, was back to work yesterday, just two days after Harper Seven was born, joining his L.A. Galaxy teammates at a news conference.

Beckham joined his team to announce the Herbalife World Football Challenger 2011 soccer tournament which will see L.A. Galaxy take on David’s former team Real Madrid on Saturday.

Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was also present at the press conference and the pair swapped shirts with David leaving with the striker’s no.7 shirt.

Ronaldo, who joined Manchester United after David left for Spain, donned the no.7 shirt which Beckham had played in during his time at Old Trafford, and many believe that the number is the inspiration for his new daughter’s name.

Little Harper Seven arrived on Sunday morning and David was quick to tell fans about the newest arrival to the Beckham clan.

The child was born by elective Caesarean, in the same way as the Beckhams' older children.

On Monday night David took his sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight and six-year-old Cruz out for a boys dinner at the upmarket Fig & Olive restaurant in West Hollywood.

'Everybody was in a very good mood, and they left happy,' a source told the website.

'The kids seemed happy, but they are such boys,' a source close to the family added. 'It will be interesting to see how they take care of their little sister.'

Following the birth of his daughter on Sunday morning, David made an announcement on his Facebook page.

'I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham,' he wrote.

'She weighed a healthy 7lb 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister.’

A source told The Sun that David was so happy about the new arrival that he was literally crying with joy.

The insider said: 'David has been crying with joy. They are all so happy.'

The Beckhams’ decision to name their newborn daughter Harper is reported to be after a character on their sons favourite TV show Wizards Of Waverly Place, which features a character named Harper Finkle.

‘The entire family had input – Victoria and David love the name, but it was the boys who actually came up with it,' said a source.

‘Victoria loved it because it’s an Olde English name and even though Harper is an American by birth, she will always have English roots.’

The Mail has been told that former England captain Beckham used to read books based on the Wizards Of Waverly Place series to the three boys when they were younger.

And, in the first shots of 10-month-old Cristiano, the resemblance between the father and son is uncanny.

With a head of downy black hair and olive skin, little Cristiano looked adorable as he was carried by his proud father.

The baby also appeared to have taken after his father in terms of his love of designer fashion, as he was wearing a Burberry checked shirt, denim jacket and matching Burberry baseball cap - which he wore backwards to make it more trendy.
