Shameless? Arnold Schwarzenegger steps out in an 'I survived Maria' T-shirt in Santa Monica after cheating on estranged wife Maria Shriver
He's an actor, a politician and a bodybuilder - and apparently a comedian.
Arnold Schwarzenegger made light of his recent infidelities by wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan 'I survived Maria'.
His one redeeming feature was that the item of clothing was not made especially for the occasion, but recycled from last year.
Jovial: The Terminator actor reportedly got his top last year at a farewell party as he stepped down as Governor of California
During a workout in Santa Monica on Sunday, the Twins star poked fun at his recent scandal in the white top, with purple lettering.
Coupled with the brazen message on the back, the dates 2007-2010 appear, with the first year being crossed out and replaced with 1977.
TMZ report that Arnie, 64, received the item of clothing last November during a farewell party after he stepped down as Governor of California.
Maria Shriver's employees are believed to have designed the T-shirt as a joke, writing in the 1977 - they year they started dating - themselves.
The T-shirt is considered bad taste after 25 years of marriage, the couple separated following revelations in May that Arnie fathered a secret child with a long-time member of their household staff, Mildred 'Patty' Baena.
Despite the severity of his betrayal, Schwarzenegger and Shriver are on good terms as they work through their divorce.
Last month they banded together as their youngest son Christopher, 13, was hospitalised following a serious surfing accident.
The family also includes son Patrick, 17, and daughters Katherine, 21, and 19-year-old Christina.

He WILL be back! Arnold Schwarzenegger's Hollywood return back on two months after love child scandal
The scandal that Arnold Schwarzenegger had fathered a love child only broke two months ago.
But already, all is forgiven - in Hollywood, at least.
The 63-year-old is to star in an 'old-fashioned Western' film, Last Stand, in his big screen comeback.
The former California Governor halted discussion for another Terminator movie to focus on his personal life after the news of his affair with housekeeper Mildred Baena emerged.
With his divorce from wife Maria Shriver now under way, the action star has now resumed plans with film studio Lionsgate, but rather than donning the leather to return as his iconic character, Schwarzenegger is signing on to the Jee-woon Kim directed adventure.
'It's an old-fashioned Western specifically designed for a 63-year-old broken-down guy with a moral decision whether Arnold decides to stand up for his town,' a Lionsgate executive told Deadline. 'We always needed an iconic figure for it.'

Jee-woon Kim directed 2008's The Good, the Bad, the Weird. The Lionsgate source said of the film: 'It's a property which a zillion directors fell in love with.'
Schwarzenegger turned his back on Hollywood eight years ago for politics, but began hinting at a comeback as his final term as Governor wound down.
Speaking to Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung in January, he said: 'In the future I have to adapt my roles to my age. Clint Eastwood also has done it in the same way.
Extreme fighting or shooting is not possible any more.
Scandal: Arnold halted plans for a big screen return when news that he fathered a love child with housekeeper Mildred Baena emerged
'I want to be more encouraged as an actor and I believe that I can manage this challenge. I am like a sponge, which is absorbing all the knowledge and always be willing to learn all new things.'
In April it was widely reported that Arnold was in talks to return in Terminator 5, with Fast five director Justin Lin at the helm.
But those discussions were shelved when the actor became embroiled in a messy split from wife of 25 years after it emerged that he had fathered the son of the family housekeeper Mildred Baena, who was born within days of his son Patrick.
Personal life: The former Governor is currently embroiled in a divorce from wife Maria Shriver
It emerged this week that Shriver, 55, has purchased a $10million house a few miles from her former martial home.
The estranged couple officially began divorce proceedings in recent weeks, with Shriver reported to be asking for spousal support.
Arnold is said to be work between $500 million and $700 million meaning that Maria could walk away with up to $350 million when the divorce is finalised.

Sombre: Arnold Schwarzenegger spent his first Father's Day since splitting from wife Maria Shriver, by having lunch with his youngest son Christopher
Arnold Schwarzenegger spent a quiet Father's Day with his youngest son Christopher, while estranged wife Maria Shriver distracted herself from the family's troubles by shopping for antiques.
Schwarzenegger, 63, appeared sombre as he ventured out for his first Father's Day since splitting with Maria, his wife of 25 years.
Casually dressed in jeans and a green T-shirt with 'Army' written on it, the former California Governor was spotted leaving a restaurant in Malibu, California today with son Christopher, 13, by his side.
While the revelation that the Terminator actor fathered a love child with former employee Mildred Baena has wreaked havoc on his family, it appears that he is trying to maintain his relationship with his children.
But it is unlikely that the actor-turned-politician will be able to mend the rift with his estranged wife.
Maria, 55, spent the weekend taking in a bit of shopping and spending time with Christopher as well.
Focusing on his son: Arnold and 13-year-old Christopher, who is the same age as his love child, enjoyed lunch together
Dressed in grey workout pants and a white vest top, the make-up free mother-of-four appeared to be in good spirits as she stopped by Kier Design, an antiques store in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
Once Maria left the store, she was pictured driving around with Christopher sitting in the passenger side of her car.
She was left devastated earlier this year, when she learnt her husband had fathered a child outside of their marriage.
Moving on: Maria Shriver spent the first Father's Day weekend since her split from Arnold Schwarzenegger by taking in a bit of shopping yesterday in Los Angeles
In May, Maria and Schwarzenegger announced their separation.
Now adding to the former California first lady's troubles, last week the mother of Schwarzenegger's love child finally broke her silence.
Mildred, who worked as a housekeeper for the family for 20 years, gave an explosive interview to Hello! Magazine and posed for photos with her 13-year-old son by Schwarzenegger, Joseph Baena.
The mother and son had been in hiding since the shocking news of Mildred's affair with the married star went public.
Upbeat: Maria appeared to be in good spirits as she stopped by an antiques store
Mildred spoke in detail about the the moment that Arnold's wife Maria discovered the sordid secret she had kept for almost 14 years.
'Maria did ask me directly if Joseph was Arnold's son and I just broke down,' Guatemala-born Mildred said.
'I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that, yes, he was and I was so sorry.'
Family time: Maria was also pictured spending time with son Christopher
In her first interview, with Hello! magazine, Mildred reveals: 'She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees.
'We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnold's fault, that it takes two. That is what I admired about her, her strength and the way she handled it.'
Baena sets the record straight, telling the magazine that she and Arnold had only a handful of encounters - not a lengthy affair - and that the former Californian Governor, 63, only learned that Joseph was his son recently.
She believes suspicions were raised when she brought the 13-year-old over to the Schwarzenegger's home last summer after a long absence.

Deceived: Arnold Schwarzenegger's estranged wife Maria Shriver warmly embraced her husband's mistress, Mildred Baena, in pictures taken in 2001 - not knowing that the pair were having an affair and had a child
New pictures which depict the depth of Arnold Schwarzenegger's double life have surfaced.
In one of the images taken 10 years ago a trusting and blissfully unaware Maria Shriver embraces Mildred Baena at a family event.
The pair both smile broadly at the camera as they share a hug, suggesting the pair had a close relationship.
Maria had no idea at the time that the woman she was so warmly hugging was having an affair with her husband and had given birth to his child.
The family had gathered to celebrate the Quinceanera of Mildred's niece back in January 2001 - just over three years after the housekeeper had given birth to Schwarzenegger's love child.
In another picture, the former Governor of California shamelessly wraps his arm around his lover in front of their families.
Mildred snuggled in close to Schwarzenegger resting her head on his chest - presumably not for the first time.
Cosy: The former housekeeper snuggled up to Schwarzenegger while her friends and family look on - she gave birth to The Terminator's child Patrick in 1997
Arnold's love child Joseph, aged three at the time, is seen being blessed by a priest. He is being guided by a boy who is thought to be a young Patrick Schwarzenegger, who would have been seven at the time.
Joseph also stands in the pew beside another young child believed to be Christopher Schwarzenegger. The boys were born just days apart.
The Terminator star and his wife have four children together, Katherine, 21, Christina, 19, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 12.
Joseph was dressed in a smart suit and also posed with the 15-year-old girl who was being honoured that day.
In other images, Joseph is seen holding a guitar as he enjoys a music session.
Double life: Schwarzenegger, Maria and their children had come out to celebrate the Quinceanera of Baena's niece showing how close the families were
Tangled web: Joseph and a child believed to be Maria and Arnold's youngest son Christopher. The boys were born just days apart
These never before seen images truly tells the tale of how the famous Hollywood actor who would then take a high profile political job seamlessly managed to live a double life.
On one hand he was the doting father-of-four, an Austrian immigrant who had turned his life into the American dream by marrying a woman from one of the most famous dynasties in the U.S. - the Kennedys.
But on the other hand he was having a shameless affair with his long term housekeeper under the nose of his wife while entwining the lives of both without fear that he would ever get caught.
However, his lies and deception have now been laid bare for the world to see and the cockiness shown in the images have now been replaced by embarrassment and shame for what he has brought on his family.
Shriver today met with her attorney Laura Wasser at her luxury Beverly Hills hotel where she has been staying since moving out of her family home.
Love child: Three-year-old Joseph is blessed by a priest as a boy believed to be a young Patrick Schwarzenegger, then seven, looks on
TMZ are reporting that she is going ahead with her divorce plans to bring an end to her tumultuous marriage.
Her husband has also met with another high-profile divorce atorney, Bob Kaufman, although it is not known if he has formally retained the lawyer yet.
Shriver has apparently been meeting with her financial representative for several months to go through her money issues before filing the divorce petition.
She will want to secure the financial future of her and her four children as she begins life as a single mother.
Meanwhile, Mildred's daughter Jackie Rozo, 27, has spoken out for the first time since the scandal broke saying she had 'no idea' her half brother was the politician's love-child.
In the dark: Young Joseph posed with his cousin at the family event not knowing the true identity of his father
She said she found out about the paternity of her young sibling when the rest of the world did last week.
But she says the scandal has not changed her feelings about her mother.
'She's like a superwoman pretty much', Rosa told U.S. Spanish language network Telemundo. 'She has always been there for us. For me and my brothers. That's why me and my brothers will always be there for her.'
However, Rosa says she has not spoken to her mother since the news broke.
'I love my mother very much and she is a great inspiration for any woman out there working for their kids,' she added.
Schwarzenegger, whose 25 year marriage to Shriver is said to be headed for divorce, was spotted for the first time publicly yesterday riding a bike in Idaho.
Mildred has hit back at television show Entertainment Tonight after her ex-husband made several claims on the show this week.
Family album: A long-haired Joseph holds a guitar looking very much like the Terminator star
Rogelio Baena appeared on the show earlier this week saying he had no idea the child he raised was not his son and called the revelation a 'betrayal'.
But Mildred claims the show paid him 'in excess of six figures to spew lies'.
Her lawyer Michael Saltz sent a letter to the executive producer of E.T. saying that they ran the interview without doing any research into Rogelio's past with Mildred.
The mother-of-four's legal team say they can prove Rogelio was always aware he was not the father because he was out of the country when the 13-year-old boy was conceived and returned to the U.S. after Mildred was already pregnant.
Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger is also now accused of using taxpayers money to cover up multiple affairs which has triggered a criminal investigation.
The National Enquirer are reporting that the former governor used his security detail in keeping details of his liaisons a secret.
Veteran law enforcement officer William Taylor made the explosive claims exclusively to the publication and even passed a polygraph test.
He said the Terminator star used California Highway Patrol officers and vehicles to drive young, scantily-clad women to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Sacramento on a regular basis.
Schwarzenegger's attorney hit back saying the reports were 'totally and completely false.'

Thumbs up: Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced his role in another movie after confirming his return to the Terminator franchise
Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he's to star in yet another movie as his return to Hollywood progresses after years of concentrating on his political career.
The former Governor of California has revealed he will return to the big screen in Cry Macho, a drama about a down-on-his-luck horse trainer who is hired to kidnap a nine-year-old boy.
Just last week, he also confirmed that he is to make his return in the reboot of the Terminator franchise.
A fifth in the series is currently being developed and Arnie is set to star.
The former California governor turned his back on Hollywood for politics eight years ago when he took office but - at the ripe old age of 63 - has decided to follow in the footsteps of all time action hero Sylvester Stallone, who recently resurrected Rocky and Rambo.
Despite bit parts in films and a recent cameo role in Stallone's The Expendables, Schwarzenegger had committed himself to his political career.
But when the former Mr Universe announced in January that he was stepping down as governor, he also announced that he was considering a future in film.
Filming for Cry Macho, a heart-tugging drama with action movie elements, is set to begin in September, says Hollywood Reporter.
He said he'd be back: Arnie, right, with Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone who starred together last year in The Expendables
Producer Al Ruddy, an Oscar winner for both The Godfather and Million Dollar Baby, has been working on the project for a number of years.
He said: 'Arnold always plays these big muscular guys, but there's a sweetness to Arnold in real life, and we want to bring that sweetness to the screen.'
Schwarzenegger, 63, will play Mike, a horse trainer whose wife and son have died who is hired by a man to kidnap the son, who worth a substantial amount from a trust fund and is living with the man's ex-wife in Mexico.
Mike and the boy then develop a close father-son bond as they head back to the states.
Ruddy added: 'At the end of the movie, I'm hoping audiences will be laughing and crying at the same time.'
