Dalia Fernandez, from Santiago de los Caballeros, was crowned Miss Dominican Republic 2011 during an event held on March 8th at the Renaissance auditorium of the Jaragua Hotel in Santo Domingo.

The 21-year old beauty, who was crowned by outgoing queen Eva Arias, stands 1.76 m tall and will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, next September.
