Professionals on Strictly Come Dancing are nervously waiting to see if they'll appear on the next show.
A team of new producers has apparently been brought in and up to five stars could be sent packing.
One Strictly insider described the cull as a 'bloodbath'.
Husband and wife pros James and Ola Jordan, who were unexpectedly dumped from the Strictly tour, admitted they were nervous.
Dancing for her life: Professional dancer Ola Jordan, who was paired with Robbie Savage for Strictly last year, said she was nervous she wouldn't be picked again for the next show
James, 33, told the Daily Mirror: 'If they want to change it, there is nothing we can do.
'We survived before Strictly so we just have to keep our fingers crossed. We really want to stay on.'
Dancer Kristina Rihanoff, 34, added: 'It is the thing we want to do – but you do get nervous because it is a thing you love and you want to be there.'
Last year’s executive producer Moira Ross quit the show to take charge of the BBC’s new show The Voice and there will also be a change on the judging panel after Alesha Dixon quit for ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Pro Vincent Simone, 32, who was partnered with former MP Edwina Currie, said: 'The whole team is going to be changing.
'They’re running with their own thing before they call us, so it’ll be a while before we know what’s happening.'
A source told the Mirror: 'The new producers will have new ideas and new faces they want to bring in.
'There have been changes to the professional dancers before and there will be again this year.
'It is looking like there will be a bloodbath with as many as four or five changes. It’s important the show stays fresh.
'If you are a dancer and haven’t had a call by the end of May you should start looking for other work.'
James Jordan urged the new producers to bring in 'someone young and beautiful' on the judging panel.
Comforting: Pro dancer Kristina Rihanoff hugs Jason Donovan during last year's show as Tess Daly and Bruce Forsyth look on
