As the country was blanketed in snow last night, most of us bunkered down indoors with fires blazing and buried under blankets.

But nothing can stop the hard-partying Essex gang from doing what they do best - and in the minimal amount of clothing, regardless of the temperature.

Maria Fowler didn't let a little snow hinder her night out at her old stomping ground at Nu Bar in Loughton, where she partied until 2am.


True to form, the former TOWIE castmember chose to risk frostbite for her fashion, leaving the nightclub in just a tiny mini dress and heels.

There were no coats, scarves or even tights in sight as the reality star gingerly made her way to her waiting car.

Maria was determined to show off her her outfit after telling fans earlier that she'd invested in a new, head-to-toe look for the occasion: 'Tonight is going to be bigggg new tan, new dress, new hair, new nails,' she tweeted.

Maria wore a pale pink bandage dress by Celeb Boutique that featured a plunging V-neck and short hemline.

She slid her way across the pavement in her towering platform heels, with friends gripping her tightly as she negotiated the ice and snow.

The former redhead told fans on Twitter that she almost had to spend the night at the venue, writing: 'So annoyed stranded at @nubar_essex can't get cab home. Snowed in.'

She eventually found transportation, but kept followers updated on the hairy journey home, tweeting that they were 'skidding around like a bobsleigh!'

And if she thought negotiating the icy path outside Nu Bar was difficult, Maria had to contend with ten inches of snowfall outside her house when she got back, tweeting a picture of her feet buried in powder.

Earlier in the evening, she bumped into Jessica Wright, and while her old BFF Lauren Pope has publicly announced that she no longer considers Maria a friend, Jess was thrilled to catch up with her former co-star.

The girls were spotted catching up while helping themselves to vodka and mixers at their VIP table.

It was announced last month that Maria would not be returning to the ITV2 series, joining other departing stars Mark Wright, Kirk Norcross and Harry Derbidge.

Maria has since moved to Perth in Scotland, where her footballer boyfriend Lee Croft is on loan to St Johnstone.

The couple, who have been dating for just over four months, will remain there until the end of the season in mid-May.

Derby-born Maria has only returned to Essex for a few days but it seems she is already pining for her new home.

After her night out she wrote on Twitter: 'Ah now want to be transported bk to perth to my fella lol... Wishing Saints luck tomorrow against Hearts. Will be watching on sky.' (sic)
