Jennifer Lopez and her new boyfriend appear to be taking their relationship pretty seriously.

Just seven months after she split with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, the singer's new man, Casper Smart, has already integrated with her family.

This is clearly evident in these pictures of the star with Casper and her children during a day out in Santa Monica this weekend.

The 42-year-old wore a white sweater and jeans and kept her eyes covered with a pair of sunglasses as she took twins Max and Emme for a day out on the beach.

And Casper looked totally at ease spending time with his partner's children, escorting them along the seafront while Jennifer took time to relax on a blanket.

At one point the dancer was seen holding Emme in his arms and lifting her up in the air playfully.

Meanwhile Jennifer tied up her T-shirt to expose her toned midriff and a hint of her cleavage as she led Max along a rocky verge.

Aside from the revealing adjustment to her top, the singer had dropped her glamorous facade during the beach visit.

J-Lo, 42, was pictured sans make-up as she hopped out of her white convertible sports car and headed to the sandy shores for a relaxing day out with her beau and her children.

Over the weekend temperatures were 24 degrees in Santa Monica, perfect for spending some time by the sea, playing in the sand or perhaps taking a stroll - J-Lo and her boyfriend indulging in all three activities.

She was joined by a female companion who was armed with a Canon SLR camera, no doubt to record some of the star's precious moments with her children.

Meanwhile it's been revealed that Jennifer has been paying for her new boyfriend to have acting lessons.

A source claimed: 'Casper is taking acting lessons because Jennifer wants him to be a star.

'She thinks it might be fun to act alongside him the way she has done in the past with her ex-fiance Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony, her former husband.'

It has also been claimed that Lopez is paying Smart a $10,000 per week allowance.

A source claimed: 'She hated having to whip out her credit card every time they go to dinner.

'Jen figured it’s easier to give Casper a weekly stipend, and she thought $10K was a nice round number.

'Jen doesn’t want to go over the top, showering Casper with too much, but she also wants him to up his game.

'Jen is hoping Casper won’t think twice about buying presents for her kids or whisking her off for a surprise weekend getaway.'
