Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has blasted Jean Paul Gaultier's latest range as 'bad taste'.
The French designer has taken inspiration from the taxi driver's famous daughter, showcasing clothes at Paris Couture Week that mimicked the Rehab singer's love for Fifties fashion.
But Mitch said the family have been left 'shocked' and 'devastated' by the insensitive tribute.
Too soon: Mitch Winehouse said Jean Paul Gaultier's creations are cashing in on his daughter's success
The catwalk show on Wednesday came just two days after the half-year anniversary of Amy's death.
Amy died aged 27 at her home in Camden, North London, last July 23 after battling drink and drugs.
Mitch told The Sun: 'The family was upset to see those pictures, they were a total shock.
'We're still grieving for her loss, and we've had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary.'
He explained that her iconic image had been used 'to sell clothes', saying no one offered to make a donation to The Amy Winehouse Foundation (which helps vulnerable people).
The grieving 60-year-old said despite being proud of Amy's influence on fashion, the black veils and chain-smoking 'glamorises some of the more upsetting times in her life'.
Yesterday Mitch tweeted: 'We don't support the Jean Paul Gaultier collection. It's in bad taste.'
But Gaultier insists it was a 'tribute', saying: 'She was an icon of fashion and truly, the sense of how she mixed the clothes - it was great.'
Cab-driver Mitch has been able to realise his dream of becoming a singer in his own right thanks to his daughter's fame.
After her death he was accused of cashing-in on her celebrity when it was announced he would be writing a book about her life.
He is donating the profits to the charitable foundation set up in her name.
Gaulthier's models walked the runway to a soundtrack by the singer, sporting her signature beehive.
The collection included pencil skirts and corset dresses, capturing both glamour and trashy chic.
Serbian-born Australian male model Andrej Pejic was one of the famous faces to star in the show.
Since her death, Amy's name has lived on, with fans continuing to buy albums Frank and Back To Black - the latter which became the best-selling UK album of the 21st century following her passing.
