My you've aged well! Charlie's Angels star Jaclyn Smith, 66 , looks unusually youthful on rare outing

Looking well: Former Charlie's Angel's star Jaclyn Smith looked great in California today with barely a wrinkle in sight

She is best-known for playing the role of Kelly Garrett in the television series Charlie's Angels, and 31 years later she’s still got the looks to be a screen star.

Garrett - who was the only original female lead to remain with the series for its complete run from 1976 to 1981 – dazzled as she stepped out in Los Angeles today.

At 66 years old, she looked incredibly good for her age as she was spotted leaving a beauty supply store in the city’s affluent Beverly Hills area.

The actress-turned-businesswoman, who began developing and marketing her own brands of clothing and perfume in the Eighties, sure knows the secret to eternal beauty as she showed off youthful and pump skin.

But it wasn’t simply her perfectly made up face and full-bodied copper locks that had left her with that young at heart feel – her ensemble resembled one of a starlet half her age.

Carrying her new purchases she walked the streets wearing a fitted jeans and a black shirt with a stylish green jacket, animal print flat pumps and a snakeskin handbag.

Fashion rival: Star of 2011's Charlies Angels TV series flop, Minka Kelly

Her casual yet trendy appearance could easily rival that of actress Minka Kelly – who starred as Eve French in the recently cancelled series of the revamped Charlie’s Angels.

Earlier this month the 31-year-old was out and about also sporting fitted jeans, a plain shirt and chic shoulder bag as she ran errands.

Kelly didn’t have as much success with the American crime drama series as Smith has.

The programme ground to halt after ABC ordered it off air after just four episodes.

In October last year she spoke out about the TV flop via her Twitter page.

‘I've had a wonderful time working w this incredible crew n amazing cast.
I've made friends 4 life! A beautiful experience.. #CharliesAngels.’

She later followed it up by telling fans: ‘Thank you for all the love and support! Amazing things on the way!!! All is good. :) xo’
