One perk to being in a girl group is no longer having to style you own hair - and Jesy Nelson is clearly taking advantage of that.
The 20-year-old Little Mix singer stepped out for a public appearance last night showing off a much bigger hairdo.
As she arrived at the Hilton hotel in London's Park Lane, her volumised curls were hard to miss as she posed with bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
Now and then: Little Mix star Jesy Nelson shows off a much larger hairdo last night (L) compared to her tamed style last month (R)
The X Factor winners are well-known for their quirky style and were lucky enough to enjoy the use of a stylist on the ITV1 reality show, but now Jesy has taken her look to new heights.
The singer certainly looked pleased with her appearance and teamed her huge hair - which was curled right to the top of her head - with her trademark leopard-print leggings.
She teamed them with a printed vest, a patterned waistcoat and heeled Dr. Martens and was also showcasing a slimmer figure.
The non-stop rehearsals and various gigs have clearly paid off for the Romford-born star and Jesy was ready for another live performance at the Nordoff Robbins Six Nations Championship rugby dinner last night.
Whoever said less is more? The 20-year-old's hair resembled a mane of curls as she left Park Lane's Hilton hotel
Quirky girls: The group (L-R) Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall became known for their style as well as their singing while on the X Factor
Her trimmer figure follows reports that she hired a personal trainer at the beginning of the year to get into shape following the festive period.
The singer was reduced to tears during her time on the ITV1 reality show after she became the subject of negative jibes regarding her weight, but looked pleased with the results of her New Year workout last night.
Her band mates Perrie and Jade joined her in the leggings department wearing cut-out black designs that were decorated with studs.
Blonde Perrie teamed hers with a baggy jumper and rosary beads, while Jade opted for a black shirt, a bow-detail belt and bright red lipstick.
Enjoying the perks: The girl group were at the hotel to perform at the Nordoff Robbins Six Nations Championship rugby dinner
Leigh-Anne, the fourth member of the group, chose a more casual look of black skinny jeans, a printed T-shirt and a denim waistcoat which she wore with trainers.
The foursome obviously enjoyed themselves at the event and late last night Jesy tweeted: 'Just done a gig for Nordoff Robins charity. Was SO fun, one of the best crowds we've ever had ! :) Jesy xx'
As well as developing her new hairstyle, it is unknown if Jesy plans to slim down even more after The Sun reported that she had been 'living in the gym' for last month.
A source told the newspaper that she had been aiming to have three workout sessions a week and wanted to get in shape for the X Factor tour which starts next month.
Best of friends: Little Mix were the first group to have ever won the X Factor
Slimmed down: Jesy was sporting a trimmer figure last night (L) and last week (R) amid reports that she has hired a personal trainer
Little Mix are the first group to have ever won the X Factor, but despite their growing popularity during their time on the show, Jesy still had a tough time dealing with negative comments from the public regarding her appearance.
She became the topic of some nasty comments posted at the bottom of a video of Little Mix on YouTube, and she admitted that she couldn't stop reading them.
Speaking to Heat magazine back in November, she said: 'When you’ve got your own insecurities and then people… write them on websites for everyone to see, it just makes you feel really rubbish.
'Obviously, I know I’m a lot bigger [than the other girls].
'One of the best crowds': The girls treated their followers to a photo of themselves following their gig last night
'The comments really got to me. I knew I’d get nasty stuff said about my weight from the start. But it’s not until you actually see it that it hits you. I thought I’d be alright and then I saw it and just burst out crying.'
But it seems Jesy has had the last laugh as after Little Mix won the show, they topped the charts with their cover of Damien Rice's Cannonball and are tipped to be as big as the Spice Girls.
And as well as receiving glamorous makeovers, the girls are also running out of room for their new clothes and accessories.
As well as tweeting a photo of their enormous amount of luggage last week, Jade posted a picture last night of a pile of bow ties, saying: 'Just deciding which bow to wear for the gig tonight... Ja xxx'
Decisions, decisions: The group are obviously making the most of all the clothes and accessories that they were sent
