Svelte: Abbey Crouch shows off her figure in curve-hugging dress as she arrives at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards


You might expect to see bags under her eyes and unflattering love handles forming after giving birth to daughter Sophia Ruby.

But Abbey Crouch has once again defied her post-pregnancy body by looking sensational and incredibly trim on the red carpet at the Cosmopolitan Woman Of The Year Awards.

The mother-of-one posed in a figure-hugging dress that flattered her curves in all the right places at the event at on Thursday night.

The former Britain's Next Top Model contestant opted for a green knee-length frock with lace detail, that was relatively demure despite the material cutaway at the cleavage.

However, the slightly dubious pattern had an air of 'grandmother's curtains', but 25-year-old Crouch pulled the look off with ease and grace.

Chic: Abbey didn't bother with a coat as she left the venue, making sure photographers captured her figure


By the end of the evening she had let her hair down, literally, after untying it from a ponytail and letting it freely cascade over her shoulders.

She also made the most of the freebies, leaving the venue clutching her goodie bags and giggling with friends as she sped away in a taxi.

Abbey, who tied the knot to football ace Peter in June, gave birth in March.

Just eight months later it is clear to see that she has shed all of her pregnancy weight and rekindled the figure that made her famous.

While Crouch didn't walk away with any prizes for her mantlepiece, she watched as Amanda Holden was announced Ultimate Theatre Star.

The event, hosted by Fearne Cotton and held at Banqueting House in Whitehall, also saw Debbie Harry rewarded with Ultimate Icon.

But it's not always glitz and glamour for the Liverpudlian, with Crouch posting a picture of her daughter looking grubby on Twitter last month.

Just hours before attending Wayne Rooney's birthday party last month, and giving no signs of domestic chores as she stepped out in a sleek LBD, the blonde bombshell had been wiping chocolate stains from her daughter.

She posted a photo on her Twitter page of seven-month-old Sophia, saying: 'Babies and chocolate biscuits not a good combo xx'
