Through the keyhole: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries begin married life in luxury Park Avenue penthouse

Less than two weeks after tying the knot in a lavish $10m ceremony in California, Kim Kardashian and new husband Kris Humphries have moved into their first marital home.

The couple, who both jetted into New York separately on Monday, are setting up camp in the presidential penthouse at the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue.

The 2000 square foot space is spread over two levels and boasts 30 foot high floor to ceiling windows providing panoramic views over the city and east river.

The huge living area has hardwood floors, a chandelier, a large fireplace and huge plasma television.

There are also doors out onto an enormous private deck with its own dining area, patio heaters and amazing views of the surrounding area.

The rest of the suite includes three en-suite bedrooms including the master suite on the upstairs level.

The master bathroom has marble floors and walls as well as a steam shower and indulgent whirlpool spa bath big enough for two with products from the Cutler Salon.

The entire suite is wired with an Infinite Audio Sound system making the suite the perfect location for a party or event.

The hotel itself has a whole host of exclusive facilities including its own hair salon and spa, a fully equipped gym and a rooftop pool area.

There are also several restaurants and bars, should the pair get peckish or thirsty.

The room is reportedly costing a whopping $7000-a-night.

The reality star jetted into New York on Monday with sister Kourtney to start filming the new season of their spin-off reality show Kourtney and Kim Take New York which will air on E! in January.

Kim's new husband Kris is back in New York to begin pre-season training with his basketball team the New Jersey Nets.

Kim and Kris will spend their first months as a married couple living with her sister Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott Disick and son Mason, 18-months.

The couple married on August 20 in a super lavish ceremony held at a private estate in Montecito, California just outside of Santa Barbara.

The $10 million event was followed by a brief honeymoon on Italy's Amalfi Coast last week before Kim returned to Los Angeles in time to attent Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.
