Say hello to my little friend: Kylie Minogue meets the animatronic pig she has been voicing in Betty Blue Eyes for the past four months
She's voiced The Green Fairy in Moulin Rouge and Florence in The Magic Roundabout.
But one of Kylie Minogue's most well-loved alter egos is that of an animatronic pig in the musical Betty Blue Eyes.
So the 43-year-old singer decided to pay a visit to London's Novello Theatre yesterday afternoon to finally meet the porker she has been voicing for the past four months.
She's amazing! Kylie appeared to be blown away by the animatronic porker
Dressed in a simple outfit of a white shirt and black tie, Kylie giggled as she posed up with her new friend and met the cast of the Alan Bennett musical.
Kylie has been voicing Betty since the show opened in London in April after producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh decided to offer her the part.
Explaining the decision, Mackintosh said: 'I was thinking of someone that crossed generations and would have the little girly sound that would be fitting for Betty and thought of Kylie
Give us a kiss! Kylie plants a kiss on the pig as she mingles with castmembers backstage at the Novello theatre
'She loved the idea. The voice of Betty couldn't be in better hands. She was an absolute sport.'
Mackintosh added he was thrilled that Betty has become the most loved member of the cast.
He said: 'It's lovely to hear the oohs and aahs when she appears!'
Chic: Kylie looked cute in a pair of black trousers, white shirt and black tie
Windswept: Kylie fell victim to London's windy weather on her day out
