They haven't exactly had an easy ride of things when it comes to their relationship.
But Vicky Pattison and Ricci Guarnaccio have overcome all the obstacles in their way and are now set to tie the knot, after Ricci popped the question as the cast filmed the third series of the show in Cancun, Mexico.
Talking about his decision to ask Vicky to marry him, Ricci, 25, said: 'When I came into the Geordie Shore house I had been single for a long time and certainly didn’t expect to fall in love - but that's what happened. I couldn't be happier with Vicky and know I want to spend the rest of my life with her.'

And Vicky, 24, added: 'I’m so excited to be engaged to Ricci. He's an amazing person and I knew that as soon as he walked through the door and into the house, there was an instant connection between us. I'm very lucky to have found him.'
Ricci popped the question as he and Vicky enjoyed a romantic al fresco meal while filming scenes for the show.
Asked how he had asked her, Vicky told Closer magazine: 'He kept saying, "Please turn around" and when I did, I looked up tot he sky where a plane had flown by with the message, "Vicky, will you marry me?" '
Will you marry me? Ricci proposed with skywriting as the pair enjoyed a romantic al fresco meal
And it's little wonder Vicky said yes, as Ricci had chosen a stunning platinum diamond ring for his new fiancée.
Things didn't get off to the best start for the pair after Ricci made a late entrance into the Geordie Shore house for the second season of the show.
Despite there being an attraction between the couple, Vicky was involved with someone else at the time, which stopped them from starting a relationship.
However, as things heated up, Vicky decided to end her relationship with her boyfriend to concentrate on making a go of it with Ricci.
But, as is the way on the Geordie Shore, after an idyllic few weeks, things turned rocky again when Ricci caused issues by telling Vicky he wanted to go to a strip club with his friends.
The argument caused a brief split but the pair soon rekindled their romance and are now happier than ever.
Talking about their romance, Vicky told Closer: 'I've never felt as loved as I do with Ricci, he makes me feel confident and treasured. The others tease us a bit, but underneath it all they're happy for us.'
Romance: The pair are now planning to wed in 2014
Now it just remains to be seen whether Vicky and Ricci will decide to tie the knot on television, or go for a more private ceremony.
Vicky said of the wedding plans: 'I've always wanted to get married and it feels like it's all fallen into place. Will I play the devoted wife? Hell, no! But I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
'Geordie Shore is the last place you'd expect to find your husband - it's like the antithesis of love - if we can survive that we can survive anything!'
