When Moyles asked Cheryl how she found out she was off X Factor USA, she attempted to dodge the question by replying: 'I've enjoyed this past year making the record and having the time to do that.'
But asked if she was still on speaking terms with Cowell, Cheryl replied: 'I have spoken to him many times since. If you're asking if there were interesting conversations, absolutely.'
Cheryl also confirmed the news that Girls Aloud fans have been waiting for, saying: 'It's coming up to our tenth anniversary in November and we all want to do something to celebrate it, so watch out!'

Moving on: Cheryl also said she has got past being fired from X Factor USA, and is now back on speaking terms with Simon Cowell
But the talk wasn't all career-related, as Moyles also asked Cheryl about her private life, and if there is anyone special she is dating at the moment.
A slightly disgruntled-sounding Cheryl replied: 'I'm not interested right now. I've not got the time with my album.'
Cheryl added that she hadn't been asked to be on the judging panel for The Voice, despite speculation otherwise, and said she wouldn't be able to judge on the BBC show.

Meeting and greeting: Cheryl took time to meet fans outside the studios and sign autographs
She said: 'I couldn't do The Voice if I'm honest. That battle scene freaks me out. i couldn't put two people I had chosen against each other - it gives me anxiety.'
Cheryl also told Chris about about her recent activity on Twitter. Referring to joining the micro-blogging site, Cheryl said: 'I resisted Twitter for so long, it was the enemy for so long. but i love it now. I don't know what i was doing without it.'
And joking about any abuse she receives on Twitter, Cheryl added: 'I find that the haters on there are quite hilarious. Just have a nice time and follow nice people!'
That went well! Cheryl looked in good spirits as she left the studios after the interview
What a likeness! Cheryl couldn't hide her excitement as she received a drawing of herself from a fan
The 28-year-old singer wore a pair of £240 Current/Elliott Leopard Airbrush Stiletto jeans and fluorescent pink sandals as she arrived at London's Radio 1 studios this morning.
Cheryl teamed her sandals and jeans with a black, yellow and grey loose vest top and loose black blazer as she made her way inside, leaving her long brown hair loose around her shoulders for the occasion.
Heading into the studios, Cheryl had a security guard who was armed with a huge golf umbrella to keep her shielded from the rain.
But before heading inside to catch up with Moyles, Cheryl took the time to meet her eagerly waiting fans and sign a few autographs.
