She has never been the shy, retiring member of Black Eyed Peas.
And yesterday Fergie stole the show before she even stepped on stage.
The Dutchess was spotted leaving her hotel yesterday afternoon in a Grecian-style tunic and leather shorts ahead of a charity concert she was due to play at.
The Dutchess: Fergie is all smiles as she leaves her hotel for a concert in Central Park
Fergie accessorised with a large black leather handbag and over-sized sunglasses.
The reserved elegant look didn't last long though as the toned singer had a string of spectacular stage outfits awaiting her.
Model looks: Fergie's reserved dress didn't last long
Last night, at a rain soaked charity concert in New York's Central Park, she showed her fashionista side from the moment the group bounced on stage.
The Black Eyed Peas singer rocked a few different attention grabbing outfits during the concert and began the night in a futuristic-looking short black dress which was covered in reflective gold slates.
Golden: Fergie stole the show in her eye-catching outfits
Charitable girl: Fergie performs in Central Park last night with Black Eyed Peas
Her friend and band-mate will.i.am, sported a similar outfit in all black with silver slates on.
Next the wife of Josh Duhamel wore a black leotard with a blue denim jacket and fish-net tights as the band continued to perform through the bad weather.
As if wearing the most dazzling outfits wasn't enough Fergie also sang her solo singles Glamorous and Big Girls Don't Cry.
Just giving: will.i.am and Fergie perform on stage for charity
Fergalicious: The singer sang on through the pouring rain
She told the crowd: 'This is a dream. There's not many artists who have played Central Park.'
The I Gotta Feeling hitmakers headlined the free Concert 4 Nyc after the original gig on 11 June was cancelled at the last minute due to thunderstorms.
Over 60,000 fans packed onto the Great Lawn for the concert that was performed to aid the Robin Hood Foundation.
The dancers: Taboo and apl.de.ap perform in military style outfits
The foundation aims to bring children out of homelessness to increase the chances of them staying in school and thus increasing the likelihood that they will obtain steady work and earn a livable wage.
36-year-old Fergie strutted and jumped energetically around stage as she normally does, joined by fellow band members will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo.
Later in the evening the London Bridge singer changed yet again into a leather catsuit and styled her hair into a big quiff.
Teammates: will.i.am and Fergie go through the motions
An emotional will.i.am said midway through the concert: 'The rain stopped us last time but it ain't gonna stop us this time!'
Black Eyed Peas raised over four million dollars for the Robin Hood Foundation after asking the audience to donate money via text.
Thank you: Black Eyed Peas take a moment to address the crowd
