Flying first class is par for the course for most celebrities.

But as Kelly Osbourne has revealed luxury travel can have its hazards.

The star angrily logged on to Twitter on Friday to post a picture of herself with a black eye after being knocked in the face with a television of all things mid-flight.

Bruiser: Kelly Osbourne arrived at Los Angeles International Airport with a black eye on Friday

The lavender-haired 27-year-old was spotted arriving at Los Angeles International Airport with her hair tied up to reveal quite the bruise.

And she wasn't shy about letting the world know exactly how it happened.

Taking to twitter on Friday evening, she wrote: 'Thank you so much Delta 4 this wonderful black eye Fix your f****** seats Getting smashed in the face w/ a tv is so fun.'

Kelly did not fully explain the events that led to her eye bruise.

But she was clearly growing angrier by the hour, writing later: 'Oi @delta f*** you!'

Still she did show some gratitute for the crew who took care of her after the incident, writing shortly after: 'regardless to how s*** @delta is the stewardess really looked after me! She was amazing!'

The mark is undoubtedly frustrating for the Fashion Police star, who has made a career of being on camera since her debut on The Osbournes and now hosts the fashion TV series.

She does have more important family matters to worry about, however.

Kelly's brother Jack Osbourne recently revealed he has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

She recently said, however, that seeing the Adrenalin Junkie host coping so well with the condition has helped her come to terms with his illness.

Brightly coloured: Kelly kept her head down but was impossible to miss with her lavender hair and neon green handbag

Seething: The star did not have kind words for Delta airlines after she deplaned, having apparently been hit in the face with a television mid-flight

Speaking to Glamoholic magazine, she said: 'What actually has made it better is waking up every day and seeing how amazing my brother is and how incredible he's doing.

'He has a brain that is very military-like. Where, even if he doesn't like something, he can make himself like it.

'And he's doing, excuse my language, f*****g amazing! It just blows my mind!'
