Ouch! Tulisa Contostavlos must have caught sight of her own trousers as she stepped out in a garish pair and neon heels for an interview at the BBC Radio 1 studios while pulling odd facial expressions

She's never exactly been one to step out without drawing attention to herself.

But Tulisa Contostavlos certainly outdid herself earlier today as she stepped out in a pair of garish trousers, which were topped off some neon yellow heels.

The headache-inducing trousers included splashes of orange, yellow, green and blue.

And her bizarre facial expressions appeared to mimic how passersby would have looked as she seemed to wince while walking in to the BBC Radio 1 studios this morning.

Tulisa, 23, turned up to the studios to record the Live Lounge with presenter Fearne Cotton.

And it's a good job she was only appearing on the radio waves and not on TV screens with the shocking ensemble.

Standing out: The N-Dubz star and X Factor judge knew she'd only be heard and not seen as she recorded a slot on Fearne Cotton's Live Lounge radio show

The N-Dubz star even matched the bright bottoms with a pink vest top, as well as a denim jacket which had black leather sleeves.

She trotted out of the venue in the neon peep toe heels as she pulled the odd faces.

And she even flashed her underwear as she turned around and signed autographs for fans on her way to her car.

A bit pants: Tulisa, 23, had forgotten to dress in her slick style as she revealed her underwear while signing autographs for fans

So much going on! The singer matched the garish trousers with neon peep toe heels, a pink top, as well as a denim jacket with leather sleeves

Contostavlos appeared on the show to promote her solo music, and Fearne was clearly excited to have her on the show.

She wrote on Twitter this morning: 'Today Tulisa in the live lounge at 1140am #radio1.'
And it was a far cry from how Tulisa dressed while she spent time in America earlier this year.

The singer ensured she looked her best in a series of pretty dresses, while she also underwent a makeover when she appeared on The X Factor last year, going from chav to slick TV judge.

During her appearance, Tulisa covered David Guetta's club hit Titanium and admitted she was feeling 'nervous' ahead of taking to the mic.
