Leggy lovely: Kim Kardashian, pictured yesterday with her legs on show in New York has revealed how she hides her psoriasis patches

After recently discovering she was suffering from chronic skin disease psoriasis, Kim Kardashian feared her career could be over.

But now the reality star has revealed how she hides the angry red spots, which flare up over swathes of her body.

Kim posted before and after pictures of her legs on her website, telling fans she uses a bronzing make-up spray to keep the psoriasis patches at bay.

The Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs spray comes in a variety of shades and Kim describes it as a 'lifesaver'.

'I’m using Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs spray and it is my lifesaver at the moment,' she wrote on her website.

'I love this stuff! It really covers up my psoriasis so well!'

After: Seen here after using a leg make-up spray which covers the blemishes

A 130ml bottle retails at around $13 (£8) and bills itself as a 'light-weight leg make-up' which covers imperfections.

Earlier in the summer, Kim's psoriasis diagnosis was documented on her E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

After seeing her dermatologist, Kim was sent into a blind panic after researching the condition on the internet and realising her entire body could end up covered in the painful patches.

'My career is doing ad campaigns and swimsuit photo shoots,' the 30-year-old wailed. 'People don't understand the pressure on me to look perfect.'

Kim's dermatologist told her the condition is incurable, and the best way to manage it is to lead a 'slower-paced life.'

However Kim, who makes a living making red carpet appearances and promoting products, conceded that this was impossible.
