Earlier this week fans were treated to a sneak-peek of her album artwork which featured a neon theme, and it seems that Cheryl Cole isn't over that trend just yet.

The 28-year-old stepped out in London last night wearing a hot pink mini dress that highlighted her slender figure.

The Girls Aloud star was joined by her close friend Will.i.am as they enjoyed a night out at celebrity hotspot Mahiki.

The sleeveless dress featured a pink sequined aztec pattern and a nude V-neck panel on the front.

Cheryl wore the girly number with matching pink platform shoes and kept her long dark hair down in a loose wave as she made her way inside the venue.

Despite meeting up with the Black Eyed Peas star once she arrived at Mahiki, the famous pair didn't leave the club together.

What's so funny? Cheryl was seen laughing to herself as she headed home

Instead, Cheryl tottered out to her waiting car and was seen laughing with her head in her hands as she prepared to go home.

Will.i.am looked rather serious as he emerged clutching an iPad.

The U.S. star had also dressed up for the occasion wearing black trousers, a printed T-shirt and an unusual black, white and grey blazer.

Why so serious? Will.i.am left the club separately to Cheryl and looked rather glum as he did so

He completed his look with a black bowler hat and round sunglasses.

It seems the pair may have been joined by someone else while inside the club as Cheryl later tweeted: 'Fyi.. @wretch32 is one of the nicest people I have met #cute !!'

Perhaps the former X Factor judge was meeting with the rapper to discuss future work.
