Peter Andre has posted a picture of his close-knit family on Twitter as he supports his brother Andrew in his cancer battle.

Their other sibling Michael is not pictured.

Fans of the singer overwhelmed him with well wishes following the picture, with Peter replying that their messages were being passed on to Andrew.

Andre is building an extension on his Surrey house to give his brother more space as he receives specialised treatment from Royal Marsden hospital for kidney cancer.

Emotional: The reality star revealed that he's cried everyday since learning of his brother's diagnosis

The family's battle to see Andrew recover is being documented for Peter's ITV2 series My Life, and the star's reaction to the initial diagnosis is shown in a trailer for the show.

Peter revealed in a recent interview that he has cried every day since learning of his brother's illness.

'I was horrified, so shocked, and I broke down. The tears were just rolling down my face and I've cried every day since.'

On set: Peter is back filming his reality series for ITV2

'I knew that if I could get him into the Royal Marsden Hospital, he could get trial drugs as well as chemo. It's a cancer research hospital, and I knew the treatment there would be his best chance, so there was no option...

'We all went to meet him at the airport and we hugged and cried. It was very emotional, and then I took him home.

'He's living with me right now. I'm building an extension on the house, which starts in six weeks.'
