Another level: Rihanna poses in her hotel room in Tokyo where she is currently staying ahead of the premiere of Battleship in Japan

As one of the world's most famous faces Rihanna will be used to the high life by now.

But even she must have been wowed by the view afforded by her plush hotel room in Tokyo.

The singer, 24, tweeted a picture from the room, which appears to have huge windows, where she posed up in front of the view.

She completed her outfit with regulatory bling - a thick gold chain and a matching watch.

On her Twitter page she wrote: 'She thinkin phillipe I'm thinkin Ramen noodles.'

Chilling: Rihanna posted some pictures of herself - perhaps a little bored in her room

Earlier in the day the singer arrived in Tokyo looking less glam than usual in her all-grey ensemble.

She carried a leather jacket over her left arm and a denim bag on her back.

Rihanna happily stopped to sign autographs and pose for pictures with eager fans at the airport before making her way to her hotel.

Grey days: The singer opted for comfort over glamour for her flight to the Japanese capital

The singer is in the Japanese capital for the premiere of her movie Battleship.

The movie's world premiere will fittingly take place at the US Navy base in Yokosuka, 40km south of Tokyo, early next week.

Rihanna plays a character named Raikes alongside co-stars Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch in the new film.

Meanwhile she has revealed that she was obsessed with aliens when she was a child in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Rihanna told The Sun that she would sit on her porch, watching for UFOs on the orders of her father Ronald Fenty.

She said: 'My dad used to make me sit outside on the steps all night long looking for UFOs flying by, and I had to do that for years.

'I didn't see any but I saw a falling star once and I was like, "Yessss, Dad! Come and see, it just darted."'
