Pop of colour: Cameron Diaz swapped her Gucci dress for a Victoria Beckham number at the Vanity Fair party

She looked a dream in cream for the Oscars earlier in the evening - but Cameron Diaz squeezed deliciously into orange to party at the Vanity Fair bash following last night.

The actress's Gucci gown, which boasted a simple basque with a dramatic train, seemed to show her minimal curves to great effect, but the Bad Teacher star truly dazzled in a Victoria Beckham design at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

And she wasn't the only one who made a quick-change for the after-party, with Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone and Irina Shayk among those who opted for a second gown to hob-nob late into the night.

Slinky: The bold tangerine-coloured gown, which featured the designer's signature statement zip at the back, hugged Cameron's figure in all the right places

The 39-year-old star modelled the very bright dress on the red-carpet and found herself sharing a joke with tennis player Venus Williams as they both posed for the cameras.

Cameron accessorised the slinky gown with a simple snakeskin clutch and a pair of oversized diamond chandelier earrings.

She kept her make-up simple as she had before and her blonde crop stayed in it's chic blown out style.

Different dress, same cleavage: It seems Jennifer Lopez is a fan of the plunging neckline

Inside Cameron mingled with her fellow A-list friends, including Kate Hudson who looked simply ravishing in a red fringed and beaded gown which featured a daring plunging back.

She had earlier arrived on the arm of her fiance Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.

The two ladies cuddled up for a snap as Cameron appeared to be enjoying a glass of wine and Kate champagne.

Emma Stone wore a Giambattista Valli gown to the Oscars, but swapped it for sophisticated black Chanel

Hudson, who gave birth to her second child Bingham Hawn Bellamy just seven months ago, looked superslim in the stunning ensemble, not an ounce of baby weight visible on her frame.

Cameron wasn't the only one to change up her outfit for last night's post-Oscars bash.

True Grit star Shailene Woodley also slipped out of her white, long-sleeved Valentino couture gown into a beaded long-sleeeved party dress with floral design.

Supermodel Irina Shayk wowed the crowd with her after-party gown.

Freshening up: Shailene Woodley swapped her austere Valentino dress for a much more fun floral number by Proenza Schouler

The 26-year-old Russian model and girlfriend of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo showed off her sublime figure in a floor-length gold liquid gown.

The golden hue accentuated her deep tan and flaunted her best assets in all the right places.

Not too bothered about posing on the red-carpet was Kate Bosworth, who rather seemed more interested in cuddling up to her boyfriend Michael Polish

Not one to miss an opportunity: Irina Shayk didn't attend the Oscars but she changed anyway after attending the Elton John AIDS Foundation viewing Party

The couple only had eyes for each other as they entered the event.

And it's no wonder why, Kate looked elegant in a sheer black beaded dress paired with some chic Christian Louboutin stilettos, while Michael was dapper in his black tuxedo.

Cameron wasn't the only one that wore a Beckham design, the designer herself turned up to the event in floor-length strapless gown from her own collection that showed off her slender figure.

The 37-year-old star kept her usual serious face in tact as she arrived at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in West Hollywood with her footballer husband David.

As the British couple posed for photographers before heading inside, they appeared to be in very different moods with David laughing as he followed his wife.

The stone-coloured garment was completed with a black leather waist belt and not much else.

Party time: Cameron and Kate cuddled up inside the party and enjoyed some cocktails and champagne

The brunette even decided to keep her look minimalistic when it came to her accessories and wore just a large gem ring which she teamed with dark nail varnish.

She wore her hair up in a bun and kept her eye-make up smoky while her lips wore a hint of nude lipstick.

LA Galaxy star, David, looked just as smart yet kept it simple in a black Dior tux complete with a bow tie and a white shirt.

And for a moment, David even let his wife take centre stage and allowed her to be photographed in front of the hedge bearing the Vanity Fair logo all by herself.

The couple were closely followed by their famous friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

They too posed with their arms around each other, but this time both of them were smiling.
