Doting daddy: LA Galaxy star David Beckham was spotted at his youngest son Cruz' karate class, assisting him with his helmet

With his father's genes, Cruz Beckham was bound to be a boy of many skills.

After playing football in front of his LA Galaxy star dad David and fashion designer mum Victoria, the six-year-old showed off his karate skills.

Cruz, who has a yellow belt in the martial art, wore a full-face helmet and padded as he kicked and punched his way through a class in Los Angeles yesterday.

Footballer David was seen helping his youngest son with his helmet before sipping on Gatorade as he sat and watched.

He dressed casually in a ref baseball cap and grey jumper.

Earlier, the boys were spotted with the rest of the family at a football pitch in Santa Monica.

David cradled his five-month-old daughter Harper Seven before former Spice Girl Victoria had a turn holding her young daughter.

The couple's second oldest child Brooklyn, nine, joined Cruz on the pitch while Brooklyn, 12,sat it out, cooing and playing with his little sister.

The family are planning an elaborate Christmas this year after Victoria reportedly spent £35,000 on decorations.

They are to celebrate at the 'Beckingham Palace' in London which the star has decorated with six 10ft Christmas trees.

They were decorated by luxury store Fortnum & Mason, reported the Sunday Mirror.

She apparently spent £5,000 on each tree and another £5,000 on decorations around the house.
