Misfire: Natalie Cassidy's outfit to the Models of Diversity Curves in Couture show at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill was not one of her best
A gorgeous set of curves are always something to be celebrated.
Sadly it appears Natalie Cassidy missed the mark somewhat.
The 28-year-old actress attended the Curves Couture Models Of Diversity show in Notting Hill last night wearing a corseted disaster which did nothing to flatter her lovely figure.
The dress comprised what looked like a leather upper half, with tulle attached above the knee to produce a vaguely mermaid-like shape.
Two chunky black sashes added unnecessary bulk, with odd gold embellishments contributing to the general distraction.
A gold necklace, earrings and matching bracelet continued the colour theme, but unfortunately aggravated the generally messy effect.
Overdone it: The combination of Natalie's chunky sash, gold necklace, earrings, and the gold lace embellishment on her dress made for a messy result
Natalie's make-up was more successful at least, with smokey eyes tempered with a fresh dewy look.
The style mishap was a shame, since Natalie is arguably in the best shape of her life.
The star dropped a remarkable three stone after parting ways from fiancé Adam Cottrell in May - and appears to have kept off most of the weight.

Odd shape: the fitted top and tulle bottom of her dress created a mermaid silhouette
Rising stress levels left the newly-single Strictly Come Dancing contestant unable to sleep or eat and her weight plummeted to 9st 2lb.
But taking control again, she has stabilised herself at a healthy 9st 7lb.
Natalie said at the time: ‘I have been a size six, I’ve been a size 16 – bordering on an 18.
'But I am a size 10 now, and I feel that I am the weight I should be.’
Celebrating curves: Natalie spoke on stage during the show
The pair were due to marry last year following the birth of Eliza, but Cassidy called off the ceremony after a huge bust-up.
Cottrell later pleaded guilty to assault and criminal damage and now has a restraining order under his name.
District Judge Ian Baker banned him from driving for 18 months and sentenced him to a 12-month community order with 60 hours' unpaid work.
Getting into the spirit of the occasion: Guests turned up to celebrate plus-sized style
Cottrell was also fined £100 for possession of cocaine and was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Natalie came close to making an appearance on this year's series of I'm A Celebrity Get me Out Of Here, but decided against it due to childcare commitments.
A friend said before the show: 'Natalie is very keen, but does have some worries about childcare for Eliza, who dotes on her mum.'

I don't think you're ready for this jelly! Corsets and curls made for a showstopping entrance

Making her presence felt: This buxom beauty made sure her hair was as voluptuous as her curves

Support: Zandra Rhodes turned up to show her enthusiasm for the occasion
