Making a splash: The television presenter gets to grips with a body board in the North Devon sea
When she was voted on to a list of the world’s sexiest ladies, Kirstie Allsopp said it was ‘a hurrah moment for all the women who aren’t size six and blonde’.
And the usually conservatively dressed television presenter was certainly showing off her curves as she splashed about in the sea on a body board.
The Location, Location, Location host proved she was equally at home surfing the waves in North Devon as with riding the peaks and troughs of the property market.
Enjoying a family holiday, the 40-year-old was staying near the beach with her partner Ben Andersen and their two children, Bay, five and Oscar, three.
It was three years ago that Miss Allsopp came 91st in a poll of the world’s 100 sexiest women by FHM magazine, beating Kate Moss and Jennifer Lopez.
She was included in the survey which was carried out by lads magazine FHM. It saw nearly 10 million votes cast globally.
The raven-haired presenter, a self-confessed size 12 on top and size 14 below, said: ‘It’s nice to think that someone of my age, who just prances around on telly doing their job, can come off well in a poll like that, because it’s not like you see me going to premieres in a low-cut dress.’
The latest series of Location, Location, Location has just started on Channel 4. It follows Miss Allsopp’s recent spin-off holiday show, Vacation, Vacation, Vacation.
