Party time: Kim Kardashian dons dress number two as her and new husband Kris Humphries head into their reception

She walked down the aisle in a voluminous tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown with an epic train as she said 'i do' to fiancé Kris Humphries,

But Kim Kardashian decided to mix things up as the happy couple transitioned into the evening reception.

As Kris, 26, changed out of his white tuxedo, the beaming bride, 30, made the first of two costume changes - appearing in a form-fitting mermaid style gown with more tulle and lace and hand-cut Organza petals, also by Vera Wang.

Kris also made his attire more evening appropriate by changing into a black tuxedo by Ermenegildo Zegna complete with bow-tie.

The newly married couple posed for pictures together before entering their wedding reception as man and wife.

The lavish evening affair was held in a giant tent that was erected on the extensive grounds of a private estate in Montecito, California, just outside Santa Barbara.

Dinner time: Celebrity guests included Kim's step-brother Brody Jenner and his girlfriend Avril Lavigne

Once inside the tent soul singer Robin Thicke introduced 'Mr and Mrs Humphries' and sang his song Angels for the couple's first dance as husband and wife, then Let's Stay Together.

Many of the couple's celebrity friends came out to celebrate with them and everyone adhered to the strict black and white dress code.

Kim's step brother and his girlfriend Avril Lavigne both chose black options, as did Dancing With The Stars professionals Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke.

Kendal, Kylie and Khloe had all changed into cute white velour tracksuits half way through the night to be more comfortable.

Kim got to dance with her step-father Bruce Jenner who appeared to be very proud and fighting back tears most of the night.

Kris and Kim then cut their enormous six-foot tall black and white wedding cake made by Hansen's Bakery.
