Bringing sexy back: Carol Vorderman shows off her famous bum in a tight pair of years as she's named as Rear Of The Year today
She fought off some tough last minute competition from recent internet sensation Pippa Middleton's bottom.
But the Duchess of Cambridge's little sister couldn't match the va-va-voom curves of TV presenter Carol Vorderman when it came to the Rear Of The Year Award.
The 50-year-old, who regularly shows off her shapely bottom in figure-hugging dresses, was named this year's recipient of the annual celebration of bottoms.
The award's organisers said Miss Vorderman received a 'deluge' of votes after her fabulous figure became the envy of many middle-aged women.
She was named Rear Of The Year 2011 alongside male winner, Strictly Come Dancing professional Anton Du Beke.
Vorderman said: 'I am really surprised and flattered to get this award, particularly at this stage of my life.
'Surprised and flattered': Vorderman's win at 50 is an achievement for middle-aged women in the media

'I always suspected there were a lot of people out there who were glad to see the back of me, so this has turned out to be very funny indeed.'
Vorderman's acceptance of the title comes after weeks of speculation Miss Middleton would receive the honour.
Pippa was catapulted into the limelight at her sister Kate's wedding to Prince William in April after a sexy turn as a bridesmaid in a white Alexandra McQueen cowl-neck gown.
Cheeky! Du Beke cops a feel of Vorderman's bum
But organiser Tony Edwards said Pippa and her figure wasn't even on most people's radar when voting started months ago.
He said: 'There have been quite a lot of votes for her over the period after the royal wedding, but it was less than six weeks from then to now and a lot of other stars had a lot of time to really ratchet up the votes.
'There is no doubt that Carol Vorderman has got many, many more votes.

'The bottom line, if you want to use that expression, is that if you Google Carol
Vorderman's bottom and stand back, there is a mass of websites dedicated to her rear assets.'
Fellow winner Du Beke, 44, was also chuffed with the accolade.
He said: 'Sadly, it has often been said that my rear is better than my front, so thank you very much indeed.'
Short-lived fame? Pippa Middleton's rear has only been famous for a matter of weeks
In an interview with the Mail two years ago, Vorderman admitted it had taken her a while to appreciate her naturally big bum.
She said: 'We all have, in my family, what we call the 'Vorderman bottom' - a sticky out, bigger-than-normal, signature, of the rear variety.
'It's been a family joke all our lives - even my lovely brother has one. I know the lines to all the good singalong big bum songs. '
Previous winners of the Rear Of The Year Awards include Charlotte Church, Denise Van Outen, Fiona Bruce and Jennifer Ellison.
Following in their backsides: Singer Charlotte Church won the award in 2002, while Denise Van Outen won in 1999
