Jetting out: Christina Aguilera arrived at LAX airport with her three-year-old son Max today
Christina Aguilera may not be going through the best of times currently, but she's making sure she fits in time with her little boy.
The Candyman singer was pictured arriving at Los Angeles airport today carrying her three-year-old son Max through the terminal.
But also along for the trip was her boyfriend and now constant companion Matthew Rutler who followed closely behind her - carrying all the luggage.
Aguilera and the two main men in her life were seemingly going for a little getaway.
Maybe it is timely she wants to get away from it all as her divorce from ex-husband Jordan Bratman becomes final on April 15.
Wherever the Beautiful singer is going though, it will not be for long.
My two boys: Aguilera's boyfriend Matthew Rutler was also along for the trip but was left carrying the bags
She will begin work soon on NBC's new talent-finding music show The Voice where she will appear as a judge.
The troubled singer will be joined by Maroon 5's Adam Levine, Forget You Singer Cee-Lo Green and country crooner Blake Shelton when the show hits TV screen on April 26.
Despite her recent set backs, Christina says she is now ready to put the past behind her and move on.
No special treatment: Christina, Matthew and Max went through security like everyone else
'I've gone through a really hard divorce, and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish.'
'I’m human too, and people make mistakes. Unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge'.
But with a hint of optimism she added: 'I can laugh about my own hiccups and my own experiences in life because I'm getting through it.'
As well as a very public separation from her husband of five years, the star also fluffed her lines when she sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl in February.
And shortly after she tripped and fell on stage during a performance at the Grammy Awards.
Then last month she was arrested for public intoxication while Rutler was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
And only recently it emerged that hundreds of private photos of the singer in bed with Rutler were being hawked to celebrity website RadarOnline - although they were not published.
The snaps were said to be found on a discarded digital storage card in a French hotel where Rutler and Aguilera had stayed.
