Buckle up! Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan tried her hand at jet-skiing with singer boyfriend Max George as the rest of his The Wanted bandmates watched in Barbados


They shared an intimate moment at the airport in Barbados ahead of their romantic getaway.

But yesterday was more action packed for Michelle Keegan and Max George as the Coronation Street star took her fiance for a spin on a jet-ski.

In what was like a meeting of the WAGs of the popstar world, the actress led the girlfriends of The Wanted band members as the group hit the beach.


The couple were joined by Tom Parker and his girlfriend Kelsey Harwick, and Siva Kaneswaran and his girlfriend Nareesha.

Their fellow bandmates Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes were also there but did not appear to have brought along any lady friends.

The girls have accompanied their men to the Caribbean where they will be singing at a concert on New Year's Eve at the exclusive Sandy Lane Hotel.

She looked relaxed with a makeup-free face and her brunette locks loose for most of the day before she tied them back in a loose bun.

The 24-year-old appeared to be getting along swimmingly with the other girls.

She also donned a small jumpsuit - but in a zebra print - but, unlike Michelle, opted to strip to her bikini for her own jet-ski ride with her boyfriend.

She showed off her taut stomach and slim pins in the two-piece.

Michelle and Max were spotted at the Barbados airport on Tuesday, looking more in love than ever as she planted a kiss on his forehead.

Michelle has said she couldn't wait to wake up with Max on Christmas Day at her family home.

'This is actually our first Christmas as a proper couple, so I am really looking forward to it,' she told Now magazine.

'I just like seeing everyone and I love actually wrapping presents and giving them to people, especially if I've found the right thing.'

Max proposed with a ring and a puppy in June this year, after just six months together, catching Michelle by surprise.

She said: 'He's got everything! He hasn't got any hair, so I can't get him hair products.

'He only likes one aftershave so I can't buy him that, and he wears the clothes he gets given at shoots. I'm panicking!'

Family ties: David and Victoria Beckham joined his sisters Lynne (front) and Joanne (to his right) for her birthday dinner in London last night


Living in Los Angeles for most of the year, the Beckhams don't see a lot of their respective families.

So when David realised it was his sister Joanne's 30th birthday, he decided to arrange a surprise party to celebrate - despite the fact that her big day isn't until next February.

And from her tweets, Joanne had no idea that David, 36, and Victoria, 37, had arranged the surprise dinner for his younger sibling.


She knew she was going to her favourite restaurant Roka, a modern Japanese place in the heart of Fitzrovia in central London.

But she was surprised to see her close friends and family there and Tweeted: 'Aww turned up at my fav restaurant and can't believe my close friends and family was here !!!! Amazin !!! So happy.'

The family were joined by their other sister Lynne, 38, for the occasion.

And clearly David was delighted to see his sister so happy that he arranged for a group photo that he promptly posted on his Facebook page and wrote: 'Merry Xmas everyone....just at my little sister Jo's birthday party tonight.'

Beckham can be seen beaming at the back of the photo with the birthday girl right next to him on his right and his eldest sister Lynne in front.

Victoria stood off to the side on the right in between two of Joanne's friends as someone captured the moment.

Katie Price has tarnished a certain someone in her life as 'evil', without actually spelling out who she is referring to.

However, during the Twitter blast she insinuates the attack is directed at Peter Andre as the feud seems to have arisen over their children.

The tweet, posted today, speaks of the cruelty of 'a man' threatening to tell her child that she suffered postnatal depression when they were born.


Price, 33, also said the man in question is '2 sided' as he is 'evil 2 some' but behaves angelically when he is in the company of others.

The former glamour model wrote: 'Some men are so 2 sided and cruel, Evil 2 some and act a god to others unbelievable.

'How cruel is it when a man continues 2 threaten to tell your child your mother had postnatal depression when they were born an didn't bond'.

Price and Andre, 38, had two children together during their three and a half year marriage.

Junior, six, was born in June 2005, while four-year-old Princess Tiaamii followed two years later in June 2007.

The mother-of-three also has eldest child Harvey, who was fathered by footballer Dwight Yorke in May 2002.

Katie spoke openly about her postnatal depression during a book signing in Glasgow back in 2008.

She said: 'This book is the real truth about me... I was so low.

'But my message is that you can get help for depression if you are willing to speak out and ask for help.'

On the book description for third autobiography Pushed To The Limit it also states: 'She (Katie) has battled post-natal depression.'

Price sunk to such a low during her depression that she turned to medication and even spent time in The Priory to clear her head.

Speaking to OK! magazine at the time, she said: 'My depression got so bad that I actually turned to drugs. I was desperate to get out of my head.

'After I took it I thought this feels good. Shortly afterwards, I considered killing myself after Pete threatened to leave when I told him I’d taken drugs.

'Thinking I didn't have Pete any more, I was distraught and desperate. I seriously thought, shall I just end it now?

'Then I thought, what is wrong with me? You can't do this to the kids, to Pete, to your mum.'

In happier news, best friend Michelle Heaton has asked Price to be the godmother to her unborn child who is due in five weeks.

She's experimented with almost every hair shade during her years in the spotlight, and managed to look stunning with every one.

But after spending the past year as a loyal brunette, Kelly Brook appears ready for another change.

The model, 32, stepped out at the opening day of the Hollywood International Film Festival in Capri with significantly lighter locks yesterday.


Miss Brook has been gradually highlighting her hair in recent weeks after wrapping filming on Keith Lemon: The Movie.

Her long curls have been transformed into a golden mane that goes from blonde to a deeper hue at the ends.

The new look already appears to be rather high maintenance, with Kelly's natural dark colour already visible at the roots.

Former rugby player Thom, 26, wore a tailored grey suit beneath a matching coat and artfully draped scarf.

Proud parents: Joey Barton and Georgia McNeil welcome their first child Cassius into the world today


He's known for his bad boy behaviour but even Joey Barton's fans were shocked when he opted to play in a game while his girlfriend went into labour.

The 29-year-old footballer chose to take part in Queens Park Rangers game against Swansea City yesterday despite Georgia McNeil checking into hospital on Boxing Day evening.

However, following QPR's 1-1 draw with the Welsh team, Barton made his way to London's Portland Hospital in time to see his son Cassius born.

In the early hours of this morning, Barton tweeted: 'He's here Cassius Joseph Barton. 7 pound 3 oz. Mother and baby are fine. Wow what a blessing that is....... #quivereringwreck'

McNeil was driven to the private hospital on Monday evening by her mother Denise after she began having contractions.

A friend close to McNeil stated that although Barton had chosen to still travel to Wales for the football game, he was kept up to date with every development.

The Daily Star reported that Barton was at first reluctant to attend the birth as he apparently 'hates hospitals.'

But following the match, Barton - who is well-known for his philosophical tweets - took to the social networking site to tell his 950,000 followers he was on his way.

'Game done, now to the hospital. Missus is going into labour. Great timing luv........#nosleeptonight'

This morning the messages of congratulations have been coming in thick and fast from his friends and foes in the game.

QPR owner Tony Fernandes tweeted: 'Congrats joey. Very happy to welcome the new ranger. Congrats. Great news.' Barton replied: 'Thanks mate'.

Rangers team-mate Clinton Hill posted 'Congratulations pal', while Everton midfielder Phil Neville said 'congratulations!!!'.

It is not yet known why the name Cassius has been chose, although Barton is a boxing fan so it could be in reference to former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, who was born Cassius Clay.

The name has Latin origins and the meaning is often described as 'empty, vain, hollow, poor, or robbed'.

Barton is expected to be back in QPR's line-up for their London derby against Arsenal on Saturday.

The Corrie star had said she couldn't wait to wake up with The Wanted star on Christmas Day at her family home.

'He works away quite a lot, so I don't reallty get a chance to see him, but at Christmas we'll get to spend quite a lot of time together.'

Split: Sinead O'Connor has ended her marriage to Barry Herridge, her fourth husband, after just 16 days


Sinead O'Connor has announced the end of her fourth marriage, which lasted just 16 days.

The singer, 45, wrote a lengthy and heartfelt message on her official website after fearing the news of her split from Barry Herridge, who she wed on December 8, was about to be leaked.

O'Connor revealed that she and Herridge actually lived together as husband and wife for just seven days before ending their relationship on Christmas Eve, 16 days after their Las Vegas union.


The Irish star blamed 'intense pressure' placed on her husband from members of his circle following their sudden Vegas union, which she revealed ended in a 'wild' journey to find marijuana.

O'Connor told her fans that the pair have parted amicably and said she still loves Herridge 'very much,' but that he was too nice 'to trap.'

She wrote: 'From the moment myself and my husband got together not long ago, there was intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me. These were people who had never met me but had formed opinions of me based on what they read about 'Sinead 'O'Connor' in the media etc.

'I love him very much': The singer made the announcement on her website, revealing the couple only lived together for seven days


'Entitled as they are to their opinions about me many perhaps well deserved, there was no righteousness on anyone's part to put my husband through what he was put through as a result of his desire to be with me and to marry me and as a result of his actually marrying me.

'Within 3 hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband's life. And also by a bit of a wild ride I took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don't drink. My husband was enormously wounded and very badly effected by that experience and also by the attitude of those close to him toward our marriage.

'It became apparent to me that if he were to stay with me he would be losing too much to bear. And that being with me was not going to serve him positively , career wise or any other wise. I saw his life leave him because of how people close to him reacted. And I can't take anyone's life. And a woman wants to be a joy to her husband. So.. U love someone? Set them free.

He has been terribly unhappy and I have therefore ended the marriage. I think he is too nice to do so. And too nice to trap.'

The Nothing Compares 2 U singer asked for fans and media to respect her husband's privacy, and added: 'Meanwhile I intend to get on with being fully me. With never an apology for ANY part if being FULLY ME. No matter what.

'I am a 21st century full woman and proud of living it. I am in a very good and happy and strong place in life so I am doing fine. The marriage was 16 days. We lived together for 7 days only. Until Xmas eve. And we haven't been awful to each other.

'So while I feel sad for my husband, and sad to be the cause of sorrow to yet another poor man, I'm also happy that I know we weren't horrible to each other and he is better off free. And that I can be me. And that's a freedom I can't give up for anyone or anything.'

She ended the announcement with 'rock n roll'.

O'Connor and Herridge wed at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas after just three months of dating.

After the ceremony, for which she wore a pretty strapless pink dress, O'Connor wrote on her blog: 'Dear friends... amongst whom I include whomever may be reading this with a view to writing about the glorious marriage.

'Am blogging this cus media people are naturally seeking me. On Sunday I will put up a blog on whole day. Too glorious for words.'

O'Connor also made fun of stars who invite famous friends to their nuptials, by uploading a photo of empty chairs alongside the caption: 'Photo of the celebrity guests at our wedding.'

He replied after she wrote on her blog in September that she was 'sex-starved' and asked potential suitors to apply online.

'Barry sent me this wonderful email, which just took my heart away,' she told the Irish Independent before flying out from Heathrow to the U.S yesterday.

'It had to be him... I had no intention of getting married again but Barry was extremely persuasive. He proposed to me on every single date we have had since August. He is extremely persuasive -- and other unprintable things.'
